About Nadal Investigative Services

NIS Director Edwin Nadal
Mr. Nadal has over 27 years of experience in law enforcement and investigations. He is licensed and bonded in the state of Georgia (license number PDC002331).

Mr. Nadal commenced his law enforcement career with the New York City Police Department in 1980 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. In 1986, he was assigned to the Organized Crime Control Bureau, Narcotics Division until his promotion to rank of Detective. Following this promotion, he was assigned to various units within the Detective Bureau including homicide squad, special victims squad, and precinct detective squad.

Executive Protection
During his tenure with the NYPD, Mr. Nadal was assigned to the Dignitary Protection Unit for a number of high-profile events including the 1992 Democratic Convention and visits from foreign heads of state. As an executive protection specialist, he has provided personal security services for celebrities in the entertainment and sports industries as well as prominent individuals in business and politics.

Investigations
Throughout his career, he has conducted and assisted in hundreds of investigations involving surveillance, interviews, interrogations and the apprehension of criminals. These investigations encompassed a wide variety of cases such as homicide, child abuse, robbery, narcotics, fraud and theft.

In addition to his extensive investigative experience, Mr. Nadal is fluent in Spanish and is a certified interpreter.
